Crowded Holiday Weekend!

The leader has managed to weather all holiday weekends and surprise openings.  Even managed to avoid a few disastrous ones as well.  With the season winding down, we are on the eve of what could be a pivotal weekend.  Four movies are coming out with one re-release.  A buddy comedy sort of, an Over the Hedge knock off cartoon, Paranormal Activity 4 b (serious you can make a case with just the trailers), and the return of Jack Ryan all due to release this weekend.   The producers or somebody also thought it would be a good idea to bring Gravity back with the Oscars and all, you know. 

Can a weekend in January support a summer like box office receipt total?  We will soon find out.  If the take is good, we could see a new leader!  The lead has been very stagnant not only at the top but throughout.  There has only been a few changes this season and this could change things up considerably.  Or we have some more low totals to throw on the heap.  I believe it is quite big this year.
