People tuned into to The Hobbit ...

For the 2nd straight weekend, The Hobbit 2 has taken the top spot.  In what has been a weak holiday season, big openings are hard to find.  With Anchorman 2 failing to reach $30 million, the league may already be decided.  Looking back to last year, Ned had a firm hold until Christmas.  After Christmas, Colleen went surging to the top and never looked back.  This year it's been all Jenna up to this point.  Now as we stand on the doorstep of Christmas, will Christmas be her demise as well?  Down by only $10 million and an extra movie to boot, Chuck is easily within striking distance.  This victory is not yet decided.

On another note, Christmas is tomorrow!  It's also a week with lots of openings.  Could this finally be the weekend to shake the league up?  It's been pretty stagnant for weeks.  Opening are 47 Ronin, Believe, Grudge Match, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and The Wolf on Wall Street.  Go out and catch a flick or two, it looks to be cold in the midwest.
