This past weekend Snow White and the Huntsman
wrestled in $56 million which isn’t a bad take.
However, it still has a long way to go before making up that $170
million budget. In our league Chuck is
still holding on to a dwindling $14 mil lead.
Faith has been shaving the lead for the past couple of weeks. Both have used at least half their movies and
could watch a contender to slip by. When
breaking out the movies, Chuck is still on top of the ‘Blockbuster’ division
while Colleen is running away with ‘The Rest’.
I am not so sure she can be caught now.
Several
movies are opening this week which could factor into a division shake up. Two biggies come out Madagascar 3: Europe’s
Most Wanted and Prometheus.
As for the little guys Bel Ami, Lola Versus, and Safety
Not Guaranteed. All three movies
have received good reviews. If you are
falling behind maybe some matinees are in order!
