Last Weekend is upon us which means the season is over.  All picks have been released and congrats to the Mandalorian for taking home the Blockbusters and Skywalker the Multipliers.

What will Spring League hold?  Sequels are a plenty as DC, Bond, & Marvel all with releases.  Question is, who will pick what will release and who will fall prey to releases moving.  The list already consists at least three movies that have moved their dates back.  Picks are due a week and a half.

What comes after "for life" ...

And here we are ...
So Bad Boys makes a big splash in January on a holiday weekend.  Looks like the nasty storm moving through the midwest did nothing dissuade people for heading out to the theater.  Although I have not seen Dolittle, but it looks like the reunion of Iron-Man and Spider-Man in the form of a man who can talk to animals was not that big of a seller.  Maybe this means that Iron-Man is headed back to the MCU!

As for the league, looks like the Mandalorian will take home the Blockbuster while Skywalker will take the Multipliers ... orrrrr, Stars Wars for the sweep. Hermonie did manage to finish 3rd after spotting everyone such a big lead!

This weekend I will send out the details to Spring League with all the details.  Take a minute, watch a trailer or two, and throw your hat into the ring.  If nothing else, it helps with trash talking. If you like that sort of thing.

This is it!  The season boils down to just one weekend.  Every combination is possible.  Some are picking both ponies.  Some  are picking one or the other.  And some are just hoping that the storm raging across the midwest will stop people from going to the theaters all together.  Next week as the dust settles ... or the streets are cleared and heavily salted, a winner will be declared.  Although they shouldn't be worried about the weather.  1917 is gaining steam and looks good ...

Not much change this week in the standings.  I bet Rod was hoping for a bigger splash with The Grudge.  Sadly it looks like January is going to turn cold for openings this year.  Another weekend with not much opening for picks.  However, 1917 looks good!  Next week will be the showdown between Dr Dolittle and the Bad Boys which will determine the standings.

Spring League is right around the corners despite outside turning frosty, snowy and downright cold.  I will have a list in the upcoming weeks.  Sit down with a nice cup of something hot and watch some trailers.  Season starts at the beginning of February.

It's a new year.  It's January.  Hermione's comeback has been a bet stalled with Spies in Disguise struggling to earn $14 million.  But more importantly, Jack's magic number is down to $8 million for Dolittle or add $18 for Bad Boys.  Not much is coming out this weekend, so he will be able to focus on his New Year's Resolutions.
