Are the Holidays over?

The story so far ...
The Holiday Season is over.  Ned takes Blockbusters while Mark takes the Multiplier.  It was a back and forth and Chuck almost swooped in and took it all.  As the years go by, it's fun to look at previous seasons.  Ned's $629 million total is just $10 million shy of the best Holiday season gross ever.

Out with the old and in with the new.  Spring League starts this weekend!  You have just a couple of days left to get your picks in.  We have several entries in already.  Last season was record break with Ned making $647.  Will this Spring be just as prosperous?

This is it!

The story so far ...
Mark is literally holding onto a slim lead of just $6 million.  This weekend, will people turn out to see the exciting conclusion of The Maze Runner trilogy?  Maybe it's the conclusion.  Not really sure to tell you, haven't been following this series.  But really, is anything dead in Hollywood these days.  I am sure that it won't be the last even if there are no more books.  Look at Jurassic Park, it now has a spin off.  I digress.  We will crown a winner next week.

Starting in less than two weeks is the Spring League.  Shorter season, less movies and packs a bigger punch!

Can lightning strike 3 times ...

The story so far ...
Well, the stuffed bear delivered ... for now.  Mark has about two weeks to bask in the glory of 1st.  Sadly, much beyond that is in doubt.  Believe it or not, The Maze Runner has been a profitable franchise with the 1st and 2nd making $32.5 and $30.3 million respectively.

You gotta believe in stuffed bears ...

The story so far ...
Mark surely will pull into the lead after this weekend.  The only question is by how far.  Stay tuned because upcoming questions will be, was it enough? How much will The Maze Runner make?  Who will win the Super Bowl?  Will Solo come out on time?  Which is better, chicken or beef?  Is there an indoor gas station for these cold January days?  Wha ...

2 pony race with a dark horse and a dark dark horse

The story so far ...
<The letter includes disturbing images ... or not>

Literally no change in the movie league this week.  We are all pretty much waiting for Paddington 2 and Maze Runner 3 to open at this point.

2018 has come which means Christmas has passed.  Containers and dishes filled after days of cooking have all been emptied.  Family drama both old and new have provided the Soaps with at least another year worth of material.  Christmas cookies and egg nog have expanded our ... horizons, along the waist.  As the decorations come down packed away for another year, let's not forget the central piece, the Xmas Tree.

In the days following Christmas, the trees can be found in not so pleasant locations.

Please give those once sparkling furs of wonder the ending that they deserve.
