Video Games eh; Circus no; Space opera, Sweet!

The story so far ...
Cold temps set in and the Holiday season is winding down. Just a couple of movies left to go!  Who will decide the winner?  Ned has a stuff bear and Mark has the third installment of the "It's not the Hunger Games but a Death Maze."  Chuck has an outside chance with Proud Mary but her next hit better score big.

Star Wars: The Last 'Big Opening'

The story so far ...
I am confused.  There is much controversy over The Last Jedi, yet it made over $220 million.  They say Justice League is a bomb making $93 million in it's opening weekend.  I found them both entertaining to watch.

Ned moves to 2nd in the Blockbusters and takes over the Multipliers thrown.  Ferdinand didn't have much of an impact, but the race is just heating up on the doorstep of Christmas.

It's here ...

The story so far ...
Star Wars isn't going to have much of an affect on the league.  Everybody picked it first! However, I'm thinking of a $200 million plus opening definitely could be a a possibility.

The length of the calm had no predetermined length ...

The story so far ...
How ironic is it that Just Getting Started opens this weekend and Colleen is dead last with by far the most movies left to open.  The best part, she picked Just Getting Started.  Will it become foreshadowing in a couple of weeks?

In other news, Star Wars is just a week away and the tickets have been bought!

The calm before the storm ...

The story so far ...
Coco rules the weekend but the Wednesday start hurt the total numbers.   Although $50 million is a decent opening, not much impact on the league.  Only $56 million separate the top four teams.  This might be going down to the wire.  Christmas is approaching and the movies yet to be released are dwindling.

Can I just say that the wait for Star Wars is excruciating.  Especially because every site, blog, news agency out there is trying to out do each other with spoilers. Why go see a movie where you already now 90% of the plot?  And while we are on the subject, can we please have more Tom Hanks movies.  Colleen can't finish dead last again!
