Allegiant opened to a disappointing $30 million this past weekend causing the studio to slash the budget for the 4th installment. The past couple of decades have seen teen series rake millions but sadly The Divergent Series was not able to capitalize on this.

Moving on, the top spot for the Blockbusters could be in jeopardy this week. If the greek sequel opens to more than $4.06 million, John could be claiming the top spot. I am not sure if Greek Wedding 2 can relive the magic and massive box-office returns but $4 million is such a low number!

Where's Godzilla?

If we have learned one thing so far this Spring, it's a close race to the finish. As it look like Jenna was going to take hold of the reigns and lead both to the finish, In comes 10 Cloverfield Lane crowning a new leader. The movie, although devoid of the Godzilla-esque creature is full of suspense. Just like this league. Up next is Allegiant. Could it jumble the league once again.

Citytopia....

I must now what Zootopia to better understand the name. From the trailer it looks like the animals are roaming from in a city. Yet the name has the word "zoo" in it which would imply the opposite. Mind is definitely not blown. However, not gonna lie, a bit confused.

Just over $40 million separate the top 6 movies. We have hit the midpoint and the race is on!
